OUR GOAL – to use creativity ability and aptitude to express the beauty and ambition of your ideas, with efficiency and technical competence.

We work for Designers and Art Directors helping them to realise their designs. We focus on planning and risk aversion to ensure construction techniques are quick and efficient. Where ever possible we use stock walls sections called ‘Flats’ these are then covered in canvas and or plastered to create walls, window openings, doorways and ceilings.
When the project is finished we store the flats for use on future projects, this is great for the environment and also keeps; lead times and costs down. Often other elements of the set are bought or hired in. Complex forms are made to order, we use our network of skilled workers to produce quality work.
We also works directly with production companies, advertising agencies, events companies and anyone else who needs a set put together quickly and efficiently. We can work with you and create the optimum design for your project. We are also experienced at making making props and models.

BIO : CHRISTOPHE SPURLING

Christophe makes sets, often for TV and Film, often for events, photo shoots and shop windows . He is equally at home creating from construction plans or the back of an envelope. On a broad range of projects Christophe believes quality design falls hand in hand with the construction process. Design does not end with precision drawings but continues as the design makes it’s metamorphous from page to reality. Attention to detail and efficient method is key to creating ambitious projects.
Christophe achieves this through clear communication and organisation as well as a creative approach to design and construction. Christophe is a keen producer of contemporary furniture and industrial design. His designs seek to embellish the integrity of the materials used. The form of each piece is intended to echo functionality and practicality whilst challenging preconceived norms within design.
He enjoys making each piece himself and believes this enables him to fully understand the designs and often develop them further. This process informs his approach to set construction, prop making and Interiors. Christophe works on a range of projects, often hands on; and often employing a team of people to coordinate large builds.
